Minor Surgery
Drs Johns and Killingley have advanced training in Dermatology. They may be happy to remove certain skin lesions. Book a normal appointment first to discuss with them. You will then be added to a waiting list and booked into the next available clinic. Please be aware if you do not attend your appointment you will be removed from the waiting list.
Joint Injections
All patients requesting a steroid joint injection for the first time will need to have an appointment to discuss this with a GP in the first instance to decide if this is the right treatment for you. This is still the case if you have previously had a joint injection at another practice.
Due to the volume of requests we receive and in the interests of fairness all patients are placed on a waiting list. Joint injections will not be undertaken in routine clinics.
You will be offered upcoming appointments by text or email when they become available.
We ask that after your joint injection if you need a further injection that you speak with reception to be put back on the waiting list.
Most steroid injections into a joint should not be repeated more frequently than every 3 months, many do not need them this frequently if symptoms are controlled.
