Dr Laurance is able to offer a range of services including contraception and joint injections. She is also our Safeguarding Lead.

Dr Johns carries out full GP duties and has a special interest in Dermatology. She can carry out minor operations and joint injections at the surgery as well as assessing dermatological problems.

Dr Burns joined the practice in 2016 and has a special interest in womens health and teaching.

Dr Killingley joined us in 2018. She is an experienced GP with a special interest in Dermatology.

We welcomed Dr Addis to The Oaks in July 2019. He has a specialist interest and training in Diabetes and also does joint injections for patients in his clinics

Professor Taggar was initially employed as a long term locum and became a Salaried GP in April 2020. He works with us on Fridays. He is an experienced GP, a Professor and head of the undergraduate teaching at the University of Nottingham and has a special interest in cardiology.

Dr Browne joined our team in September 2020 as a Salaried GP. He is also passionate about teaching medical students!

Dr Bradley started at the surgery in 2021 as a maternity locum and joined the team permanently as a Salaried GP in April 2022 as he was so popular with our patients. Dr Bradley enjoys teaching our medical students and performing joint injections! 

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Dinah has previously worked in the community and joined our team in July 2018 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She works alongside our Doctors to help triage and treat patients, she can assess and prescribe for a wide range of illnesses as well as performing nursing duties. 

Paramedic

Jen is employed by the PCN (Primary Care Network) and attached to our practice. She is a fully qualified and experienced paramedic who has previously worked with EMAS. She works alongside our GPs and Dinah to assess and treat patients, she also performs home visits to patients who are housebound and unwell.  

Practice Nurse

Claire has been at the practice since 2016. She previously worked at NUH on an orthopaedic ward. She is able to perform a wide range of nursing duties including immunisations, spirometry cervical smears and long term conditions

Charlotte joined us in March 2021. She has worked in both community and General Practice Nursing and is working to upskill on her practice nursing duties.

Zara joined us in June 2024. She has worked at NUH previously as well as General Practice. She is also a prescribing Nurse.

Health Care Assistant

Julie is our longest serving member of staff. She is able to deal with a wide range of queries and issues and handles all complaints. In her capacity as a HCA she is able to provide services including dressings, healthchecks, stitch and staple removal and BP checks. Julie also assists the Doctors in minor operations and coil clinics. 

Practice Manager

Charlotte is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises, equipment and information technology. She supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. Charlotte has worked in the NHS and private healthcare settings for over 10 years. She was commended as Practice Finance Manager of the year 2023!

Reception Manager

Leah joined the team in September 2016 as a receptionist and secretary. She is able to assist with any queries around referrals or appointments as well as carrying out a full range of reception and admin duties. She also leads our PPG and works alongside the Practice Manager to help support reception and the wider team.

Darcey joined us in 2022 as an apprentice. She worked and studied to complete her apprenticeship in 2024. She works on reception and is always happy to help deal with any queries

Jan joined our reception team in 2023 with Olivia. She really enjoys being on reception helping patients and greets everyone with a smile!

Olivia joined our reception team in 2023 with Jan. She works mostly in reception but is also able to help with a range of secretary queries.

GP Admin 

Michelle handles GP admin including dealing with incoming letters and test results as well as passing on messages from the GPs.

Paige joined the team in December 2020. Paige is trained in reception, secretary and GP admin and can help with any queries. Paige is also our Carers Champion.

Loui started in January 2024 and is loving learning how to help with all of the queries.

Sue joined the team as a part time receptionist in November 2020. She is always happy to help! 

Clinical Pharmacist

David is our Clinical Pharmacist, he consults with and treats patients directly. He undertakes medication reviews and provides advice and support to patients who are taking multiple medicines (polypharmacy) and are managing long-term conditions. David also supports the rest of the clinical and the admin team with resolving day-to-day medicine issues and providing clinical advice about medications and treatments. 

Pharmacy Technician 

Emily is a Pharmacy Technician who is employed by the local Primary Care Network and is attached to our practice. She has lots of experience dealing with medication queries and provides advice and support to patients with their medication. Emily works closely with David and the rest of our clinical team to provide excellent care for our patients.
